Introductions...

It's been 365 days since we started on the adventure of raising and selling American Blackbelly sheep, increasing our scope for Urban Family Farm.  Along the journey we have spent countless hours repairing fencing, moving hay and learning how to bottle-feed baby lambs.

During lambing season in the winter of 2017, we found a bummer lamb by herself and quickly took her into care.  The rescue went well as she adapted to wearing a diaper and the touch of humans.  Now "Porkchop" has become somewhat of a local mascot, touching the hearts of those who meet her.

Porkchop is taking us into our next chapters of small farming adventures and we will be sharing those experiences here.  Stay tuned for her update!
